Autumn Walk Posted by Anita Moench Date November 24, 2016 1 2 3 4 In the Pre-Kindergarten class we talked about the change of seasons and the children noticed many fallen leaves around the school. They were very eager to collect some leaves themselves, so after choosing a basket in their favourite colour, they were ready to go. Having been outside the school on previous occasions, the children knew the area, but now they showed increased confidence in walking around and finding things independently. They were curious to know the names of the items they picked up and collected a variety of pebbles, stones, flowers and sticks. Someone had cleaned up the area the day before and there were very few leaves left on the ground, but this did not diminish the children’s enthusiasm. Our little autumn walk outside the school brought a lot of joy and the opportunity to highlight some of the Pre-Kindergarten children’s great attitudes. 1 2 3 Share: Anita Moench Previous post Natural Disaster Scenario November 24, 2016 Next post A Visit with Dr. Matsuzawa November 30, 2016 You may also like Preschool Year End Class Party 27 August, 2017 To celebrate our last day together as a class, and as the summative activity for our Celebrations unit, the Preschool students planned and prepared their own year end party.
