IMG_5289IMG_5286Underwater City Found in Japanese Waters!

(A fantasy archeological activity with mysterious photos of the sea floor near Yonaguni-jima, Japan)

Kobe is a city of the future, with three man-made islands.  The city of Kobe was thinking of it’s future when it started plans to build Phoenix Island, just south of the existing Rokko Island.  Plans for the future suddenly stopped when workmen found something on the sea floor near the site of where Phoenix Island was being built.  What they found has been called the most amazing historical find in history!  What the workmen found appears to be the ruins of buildings that may have been part of an ancient city more than 5000 years ago.  Scientists do not have all the answers but think that this ancient city may have sunk under the sea after some tremendous earthquake.  There are few details and it is hard to find answers to the many questions that scientists and the public are asking.  With this article are some amazing photos of the Grade 5 & 6 class reporting on the artifacts recovered from the underwater city.IMG_5284Artifact_1
