Pink and Purple Dreams Posted by Anita Moench Date May 17, 2017 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Japan has four distinct seasons, on of them being spring which is highlighted by the famous cherry blossoms. Inspired by the soft colour scheme in nature, the Playgroup children and parents created their own Sakura tree. This being the Playgroup's 3rd seasonal mural, the children have become quite adapt at using brushes. After using recycled paper (the school's eco approach!) and creating very individual tree branches, the children used a stencil and brushed light pink and purple hues into delicate blossoms. The overall effect was stunning and enhanced with a bit of magic sparkle, the collage now adorns the Pre-Kindergarten classroom wall. 1 2 3 Share: Anita Moench Previous post Preschool Learning Showcase May 17, 2017 Next post Five senses - all the way to the sea May 18, 2017 You may also like Preschool Year End Class Party 27 August, 2017 To celebrate our last day together as a class, and as the summative activity for our Celebrations unit, the Preschool students planned and prepared their own year end party.
