On a beautiful, sunny autumn day the Pre-Kindergarten children discovered the deck outside the multi purpose room and a stack of multicoloured, rectangle shaped foam blocks!
To their joy they were easy to carry and after displaying their knowledge of colours ( This is red! This is purple!), they enthusiastically started to build towers.
For a while they cooperated, then they competed ! Whose tower was higher ? Would the existing structure hold one more rectangle ?

When all the towers had tumbled, they became even more creative. Pathways and bridges appeared, then hats.

The little white connector tubes which the children found in a box opened a new world of ideas: lollipops were created, a turtle and even a spider !

The children continued to show that they could be true inquirers, thinkers and risk-takers !
